Noctilucent Clouds over Russia

July brings that rare phenomenon known as Noctilucent or "Night Shining" Clouds, forming in the icy upper atmosphere and catching the light from the already-set Sun. Flying east from London to Hong Hong I was on the lookout for them - and I was lucky enough to get a vivid display.
